Privacy policy
Your research stays yours. This policy explains how AssetAmie handles information.
Effective October 20, 2026 · Amicus AI Advisors, LLC · AssetAmie 1.7
Who operates the app
AssetAmie is operated by Amicus AI Advisors, LLC. Contact contact@amicus.ai for privacy questions, access or deletion requests, or support. This policy describes the report-focused app version 1.7 and its report delivery service, rather than other Amicus products. The section on older versions explains legacy account and chat data.
Accounts and chat in older versions
App versions before 1.7 included chat, account registration or sign-in, and a persistent device identifier. Depending on the features you used, the legacy service received email addresses, user and device identifiers, chat content, and usage information for functionality, analytics, and other purposes disclosed in the older app's App Store privacy label. Version 1.7 removes those features and stops sending those identifiers or chat requests. Updating the app does not by itself erase information already stored by the legacy service. Email contact@amicus.ai to request access to or deletion of legacy account or chat data.
Reading and saving reports
You can read reports without creating an account. Company searches are filtered on your device. When you open a report, its symbol and a network request are sent to the report service. Requests reveal an IP address and may include basic device, operating-system, browser, and request information needed to deliver the file and protect the service. We do not collect bank credentials, portfolio balances, payment-card information, or a new persistent app-generated device identifier in this version.
Service usage analytics
Starting October 20, 2026, the report service measures library visits and report opens. App builds that include usage analytics also send app-open, report-view, ad-impression and ad-click events, together with the app version and platform. We use these events to understand service usage and reliability. We derive an approximate visitor key from the request IP address and a broad device or browser category, and infer country and region from IP. Raw IP addresses and user-agent strings are processed transiently and are not stored in this analytics database. The visitor key is an estimate, not an account identifier. We do not create a persistent app device identifier for these metrics or include search text, saved reading lists, email addresses or financial account data. Event records are retained for up to 90 days. Supported browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected. These first-party service metrics are separate from Google's advertising measurement.
Information stored on your device
Saved report links and your appearance preference are stored locally. The PDF reader may cache reports for performance; cached files are refreshed after one day when opened. Settings → Clear local data removes saved report links and the app's named PDF cache. Uninstalling normally removes local app storage, subject to your operating system's backup behavior. Old locally stored login and device identifiers are removed when this version starts.
Advertising and Google
The app displays banner advertising when available. Google AdMob and the Google User Messaging Platform handle ad delivery and applicable consent choices. Google may process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, device or other identifiers allowed by the operating system, ad interactions, performance information, and diagnostics for advertising, fraud prevention, and measurement. We request non-personalized ads and do not send your searches, report titles, saved reading list, email address, or financial information as advertising parameters. Non-personalized ads can still involve data processing. Google acts under its own privacy terms; see https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Your advertising choices
Ad requests begin only after the consent flow reports that ads may be requested. If consent gathering fails, fresh banner requests remain disabled. Where required, Settings → Advertising privacy choices reopens Google's privacy form. Report access does not depend on advertising consent. The app does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Support, recipients, and safeguards
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to answer or process your request. Hosting, network delivery, email, and advertising providers may process information for their respective services. We require service providers we engage to protect personal information consistently with applicable law and their contractual obligations; independent third-party services also have their own policies. Report requests use HTTPS. Avoid emailing passwords, account numbers, or sensitive financial documents.
Retention and deletion
Local saved links remain until you clear them or uninstall. Temporary cached PDFs can be removed in Settings; the one-day refresh interval is not a promise of automatic deletion. Operational network records and support correspondence are retained only as long as necessary to deliver and secure the service, address requests, or meet applicable legal obligations. Google's retention periods are governed by its policies and your applicable choices. To request access, correction, or deletion of information held by us, email contact@amicus.ai. We may need reasonable information to verify your identity. A local-data reset does not delete data already held by a provider or an account from an older app version; ask us to delete legacy account data.
Regional rights and transfers
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, or obtain a copy of personal data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of sale or sharing for targeted advertising. Use the advertising controls and contact email above. We do not sell the app's saved reading list or financial information. Where consent is the basis for processing, you can withdraw it prospectively. Network delivery, support, and security may rely on providing the service or legitimate interests, where permitted. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries using safeguards required by applicable law. You may complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children and changes
AssetAmie is general financial research intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information; contact us if you believe such information was provided. We will update this policy when the app's practices change and display a new effective date. Material changes requiring new consent will not rely on an earlier consent.
